Description:
The unusual outer structure of Hotel San Marco derives from an 18th-century building, Born as a tobacco mill, ( famous cigars are still hand - made in Lucca) was in the past adapted as a church.
Inside the hotel is characterised by modern but refined furniture. All the rooms are airy and really light and give a feeling of calm and peace.
All the 42 rooms are comfortable and furnished with taste, as well as relaxing thanks to the pastel colours of the furniture. Not a room has windows overlooking the street.
Situated in the upper-class area called San Marco, between its Mediterranean garden and the surrounding villas, the hotel provides a useful private parking area and a garage.
In the summer season breakfast is served in the garden, the ideal place where to drink afternoon cocktails, as well.

How to reach the hotel:
The hotel is in the north area of Lucca and is only 300 mts from the city walls.

Exit motorway A11 Firenze-Mare at Lucca Est or from A12 Bretella Lucca-Viareggio at Lucca Ovest.
Follow the direction for State Road nr. 12 to Abetone, Bagni di Lucca, Garfagnana.
