At our Inn Locanda il Varano we are a family that loves nature, natural simple things, traditions and the inner and outer well-being.
The great love we have for our land and life, have carried us to build an Inn in a bewitched place amid an ideal atmosphere both for mind and body well-being.
Ours three rooms are all very spacious (38 sq.m.) ideals also for families, comfortable furnished and equipped of private bath with shower, wc and hydromassagge bathtub.
Rooms have air condition, television set, telephone and Internet connection.
A new Restaurant offers a wide menu with the plates of the typical local Po Delta kitchen, a line of healthy kitchen for the lovers of true biological and affixed plates without gluten.
For lunch we propose also a comprehensive fixed price menu of vegetables buffet, first course, second gurnished course, water and coffee.
All in a splendid scenary that propose a continuous interlace of rural suggestions, local tradition and art where these evocative routes that make food their fundamental matrix alternates.
The Way of the Great River Po involves this tangent part of territory that it crosses lands torn to the river in centuries of efforts and careful cohabitation.
Fertile and generous areas as Bondeno, Migliarino, Codigoro, Mesola, fairs hosts of splendid architectonic and naturalistic evidences like the Abbey of Pomposa and the Forest of Mesola.
The Way of the Extensive Courts touches ancient residences, splendid examples of the highest level of refinement caught up in the past.
The noble atmosphere that is breathed between these ancient walls is accompanied by a tasting of our excellent products like rice, garlic and truffells, and it catches up its best with the Salama da sugo.
Along the Way of the Delta one comes in contact with the low areas of the territory, the zones of encounter between land and water, places characterizes from a strongly made nature of valleys, sea, channels.
The taste of fish, clams, wines of the Eliceo Forest and of the eels find here their identities.

- by car:
* on Motorway A13 Bologna-Padova, exit gate at Ferrara Sud and get on the joint road direction Porto Garibaldi to exit at Corte Centrale and proceed towards Lagosanto.
* from the seaside Lidi, at about 6 kms on the Freeway to Ferrara, exit at Corte Centrale direction Lagosanto.
* along the state road SS 309 Romea,
at the crossing towards Vaccolino follow the regional road to Lagosanto.
** from Lagosanto, follows road signs to the Hospital 'Ospedale del Delta' and drive further for about 1 km to get to Marozzo. Refer to the Water Tower as your arrival point, Locanda Il Varano is just there.
